GAZE Film Festival makes its 33rd edition this year, showcasing the best in queer Irish and international cinema. With extended festival dates now running over 7 days, expect to see a red hot programme of queer culture films, including the Irish premiere of Strange Journey: The Story of Rocky Horror, celebrating 50 years of the all-time cult classic queer film, The Rocky Horror Picture Show; Another documentary tracing the legacy of iconic queer art at GAZE 2025 is I’m Your Venus, focusing on the life and legacy of Paris is Burning’s late star Venus Xtravaganza; The festival gem is Lesbian Space Princess which also leads a new strand highlighting queer animation - this Australian absurdist animated comedy takes you an inter-galactic odyssey; and Three queer women take an emotional, confrontational, and hilarious road-trip across Trump’s divided America, exploring queer kinship in the film Dreams in Nightmares.
Expect much more and with a programme packed with one hundred films from all around the world, including striking and sexy international features, eclectic Irish and international shorts, and Irish, European, and World premieres throughout this newly extended seven-day festival.
