EPIC The Irish Emigration Museum has relaunched a specialised themed tour for Swifties, the museum seen through a fresh lens, by uncovering the roots of one Miss Taylor Alison Swift, and her many connections to Ireland, whether it’s the inspiration behind one of her albums, her fashion sense, or her lyricism.
Discover Yeats’ influence in her songs and the love story of her ancestors. Hear tales of the bluegrass beats from Ulster emigrants, which inspired Swift’s music, and uncover how the Clancy brothers were rocking the Aran jumper long before Taylor made it iconic. Celebrate her collaborations with fellow Irish diaspora members Ed Sheeran and Rihanna, and enjoy the magic of the ‘Irish pub’.
This tour will take place every Friday in July, kicking off at 1pm. Visitors can then explore the museum before or after their tour on their own time, and as with all tickets, free return within 10 days of their admission date.
