StageScreen Classes present ‘The Brothers Grimm Spectaculathon’, a show recreating all 209 of the fairy tales of the Brothers Grimm in a fun fast-paced extravaganza, directed by award-winning tutor and film-maker Conor Armstrong Sanfrey.
The casts (which includes 1 teenager cast, and one adult cast - see relevant show dates), will combine these stories into one gigantic 1-hour fable that includes featuring Rapunzel, Rumpelstiltskin, Hansel and Gretel, Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, and Cinderella.
Ahead of this production which includes 1 cast of teenagers, and further cast of adults, Conor shares: "They're multiple reasons as to why I chose this play. Primarily because it's a brilliantly written script and very funny. It is also a challenge for our cast, as many actors have to play multiple characters of all different ages, genders, nationalities and more. It is a fast-paced hilarious romp. We wanted to do a fun comedy for our next show. The world is so serious at the moment people need a good laugh. This show is pure gold escapism. Audiences can expect a good laugh. A fun-fast paced show brought to the stage by skilled actors. Not a run-of the mill standard play. This is a unique show that combines many stories both known and rare together, blended with pop-culture references and music - this show is bananas! It is the perfect end of summer treat for the family. The actors are most looking forward to getting out there and performing and seeing the audience's reaction."
