Floral Workshop

On next Wednesday (30th April) to celebrate the launch of Bealtaine and this year’s theme of Art and Creativity as we age; Glendalough Visitor Centre will be hosting a floral workshop where people can make their own floral posies to bring home with them to place on their doorstep on the eve of May in keeping with traditional custom.  The workshop will be facilitated by our Guide, Treasa who will also talk about the customs associated with the various traditions of May Day.
The workshop will take place from 11.00am until 1.00pm.  There is no need to book but places will be limited on the day.
